Margarett M Williams – Attorney
Margarett M. Williams, Esq.
After a successful career in corporate human resources in a $1.5 billion corporation, Margarett decided to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming an attorney. Her law license satisfied her hunger to make a real and positive difference in the lives of others. She was particularly drawn to the practice of matrimonial law given the opportunities to assist others through the painful process of divorce and to take pleasure in each client’s transformation to a life full of hope for the future.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Adelphi University, where she graduated summa cum laude, and her Juris Doctor from Touro Law Center. For two years, she served as President of Touro Law’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Society which allowed her to compete in mediation competitions. At graduation, she received an award for academic excellence in trial practice and was recognized for her contributions to the quality of student life.
Margarett is admitted to practice law in New York State, the District of Columbia, the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, and the United States Supreme Court.
