Sunken Meadow beach is beautiful, as is Crab Meadow Beach in Northport. It posesses same quiet beauty. I also love to sit on a bench by the Harbor in Northport. The boats, the folks walking, the sunset…just beautiful. I say to myself as I enjoy the experience, “People pay thousands of dollars to come to a place like this and all I have to do is walk down the hill.”
Love the way you look at “normal, every day” things and see them in a totally different unique perspective…like one of my favorite authors,

Hi Ada:
The perfect Day. That is a cool write up. I have a 35 year old Corvette now. It is a bit rickety but has a good engine and a 4 speed V8 engine. I usually use this car to cruise down Johns Beach on Sundays as I did this weekend. However, a great day is when your daughter text’s you and says, “Hey it will be a bit hectic this week because I have to pack I am going to leave for college next Saturday. So I am thinking of coming over Sunday for lunch and can you teach me how to drive the corvette.” That in itself can be a shocker. So I taught my daughter how to drive a 4 speed this weekend and we went for lunch. After that in the afternoon took a cruise from John’s Beach to Robert Moses with a girlfriend. Cant believe my daughter is going to college. Great Weekend.. Regards. John C
Thank you for sharing this Ada.
