Couple situations can be divided into four basic groups: short marriages and no children, living separately without contentious issues, focusing on financial matters, and longer marriages with multiple complexities. The mediation process can be adapted to suit each group’s needs and pace, ensuring they remain in control of the timing and decision-making.
