Before you get married, it’s worth talking through the “little things” that can turn into big issues later. Is it OK to enjoy hobbies or events on your own if your partner isn’t interested—like theater, sports, or other activities? Agreeing on what you’ll do together and what’s fine to do separately helps avoid conflict down the road.
