A myth is a widely held but false belief or idea. In mediation, like life in general, many people have preconceived notions about the process. In this video, I single out three of the most common mediation myths — 1) you have to get along with your soon-to-be ex, 2) have all your ducks in a row prior to mediation, and 3) need a lawyer to be with you during mediation — and “bust” them.
