For the first time since 2019, the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation met to celebrate its 40th anniversary with everyone who could attend. As in past conferences, we had a session with NY matrimonial judges in which we could ask questions. My questions referenced delays in final judgments and changing the wording to “Co-Parenting” instead of “Custody.” It was good to be back in person with friends and colleagues and participate in the many lively discussions.
